I Collection of personal data


When you sign up for a PDFTeam product or service, we ask for information such as your name and email address. This enables us to identify you when visiting our site. With your consent, we will use your contact details to notify you of product updates and other essential information. With your consent, we may also send you optional surveys from time to time to help us understand how you use our products and to make improvements. With your consent, we may send you our newsletter and other updates.

Identifying information may also be used to fulfill legal obligations related to applicable export laws or trade sanctions enacted by the European Union and its member states. This may involve automated or regular checks of personal information against applicable lists of sanctioned parties.

Identifying information may also be used on the PDFTeam website to customize and improve your experience, for example by creating a user profile.

PDFTeam may share or disclose personal data if required by law or in PDFTeam's discretion to protect the rights and property of PDFTeam, PDFTeam's employees or the general public.

II Collection of billing information


If you order a paid product or service, you will be asked to provide your payment information and billing address. Credit card information is collected directly by our payment processor Stripe and not visible to us. Stripe complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and employs industry standard security practices. Stripe may use your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy.

III Website interaction and IP logging


We may collect information about your browsing activity for analytics and statistical purposes such as conversion rate testing and evaluating new product features. This includes, for example, your browser and operating system versions, your IP address, which web pages you visited and how long they took to load, and which website referred you to us. If you have an account with PDFTeam and are signed in, this data is tied to your IP address and user account until your account has been terminated.

IV Data retention


We do not store your personal data for longer than necessary and only as long as required for the purposes listed in sec. I-III. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data collected and applicable legal requirements. You can anytime contact us through the listed means of communication above to inquire about the personal data we've collected and to withdraw respective consent.

V Cookies


We only use strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the functionality of the PDFTeam website. This includes the ability to sign up, to sign in, to access paid products or services and general account management. You can adjust cookie retention settings and accept or block individual cookies in your browser settings, although the PDFTeam services will not longer function if you turn cookies off. PDFTeam uses Supabase for authentication and account management; for reference see Supabase's privacy policy. We do not use functional or advertising cookies on this website.

VI Use by minors


The PDFTeam products and services are intended for individuals who are at least eighteen years old. Should we have reason to believe or have been notified that a user is under the age of eighteen, we will immediately terminate that user's account and delete any personal information related to that user. Parents or legal guardians who have reason to believe that a child or minor in their custody is using our products or services can request account termination by contacting us through the listed means of communication above.

VII Dispute resolution


Please contact us through the listed means of communication above a) if you have questions regarding this privacy policy or b) if you believe that PDFTeam's privacy policy is not complying with the European Union's GDPR or other applicable laws and regulations or c) if you have reason to believe that your personal information or payment details have been compormised.
